For the past thirty years, I have had the privilege of serving the body of Christ as an independent researcher, theology professor, mentor, and educator within the local church. I hold formal training in systematic and theological studies, as well as world and native histories. My doctoral work in Christian philosophy focused on the necessity of the American church to develop a comprehensive theology of persecution and a personal philosophy of death within an Enochian ideological worldview.
My current research is interdisciplinary, examining the interplay between Christian metaphysics (the fundamental nature of existence), biblical anthropology (the elemental components of the tripartite being), personal eschatology (death and the intermediate state), and the evangelistic implications of speculative theology in narrative contexts (quantum physics, relativity, and biblical cosmology).
From 2022 to 2024, I served as Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Forge Theological Seminary, where I taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Old Testament studies and Christian philosophy, and participated in thesis and dissertation committees for both master’s and doctoral candidates. I recently wrote a book review that has been accepted for publication at FTS’s Ecclesia Militans Journal, evaluating Vern S. Pythress’ book, Logic: A God-Centered Approach to the Foundation of Western Thought, [Print Ready] which served as a required text for my Introduction to Logic class.
At the end of 2024, I transitioned from Forge to serve as Principal Scholar-in-Residence and Director of Curriculum Development at Isaac Hunter Ministries. This organization focuses on conveying the gospel message to those identified as “spiritual but not religious,” particularly individuals drawn into the occult, witchcraft, Satanism, or New Age ideologies. Our mission is advanced through the creation of innovative narrative works, independent study resources, online and in-person classes, and community outreach. We draw our mandate from the dual freedom and obligation articulated in 1 Corinthians 9:22: “I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some,” as well as being personally grounded in Colossians 3:17, 23: “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,” and “whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men” (1 Corinthians 10:31; Ephesians 4:11-16; Acts 17:11).
Additionally, I am pursuing postdoctoral studies and ministry training at the Koinonia Institute, where I am in the final phase of my coursework and also serve as a student mentor. In this capacity, I effectively facilitate a ten-class course load by monitoring online learning management system (LMS) communication boards, welcome students to their respective classes, address inquiries, review and respond to class assignments, and encourage students to continue in their academic pursuits.
